Phyllis's contemporary art style using acrylics, oil and watercolors have won her several prestigious awards. She has received training by some of the top contemporary artists.

She has studied at the Art Students League in New York City, Farmingdale College, and has attended workshops at West Dean College in England. Yearly attendance at Springmaid workshops in Myrtle Beach, SC further enhances her style and creativity.
Her studio is located on Long Island, NY.

She is a board member of the Suburban Art League and a member of the National Association of Pen Women.
